Nidri, Levkas, Greece

Nidri
Nidri, Levkas, Greece

Our next stop on Levkas was the town of Nidri. We anchored off the waterfront and took the dinghy into town. We found an English language bookstore, a bank machine, and shops for groceries. During our adventure, we have moved to a new town about once every four days. In every case, we have to explore on our own to find the necessities of life that keep us going on Dragonsinger. It is time consuming, but a big part of what makes what we are doing a real adventure.

After stocking up, we left Nidri and after going through a narrow passage we came to a large bay called Omous Vlikho. We anchored in the completely protected bay. We have been keeping up email communication with an American family traveling in their sailboat. They have three children like us and we hope to meet them in this bay within a day or so.

The weather is nice, the water is warm, and school is out. It's time to play and we all take time to enjoy swimming, climbing on the dinghy, and jumping off the boat.
