Enjoying Porto Azzurro, Elba
Allen Getting Ready
We continue to have great weather and the Mediterranean Sea is 28C, so swimming is the way we start every day in Porto Azzurro on the island of Elba off the west coast of Italy. Allen is still wearing his life jacket, but at times he swims with a kick board and practices putting his head under water. No doubt by the end of the summer he'll be swimming without any help.
Kevin Geared Up
Kevin prefers to swim with his full snorkelling kit. His fins, mask, and snorkel go on before he leaves Dragonsinger and swims off in the distance. Jocelyn and Kevin have swum long distances exploring the bay. We sometimes get concerned when they are out of sight, but they always arrive back onboard with stories to tell.
Dinghy Dock
A daily visit to town seems to be the order of the day. Today, Karalee and I even had a lengthy lunch together without the children. With Dragonsinger's generator and water maker we can stay independent from the dock. But having a town nearby to keep Dragonsinger topped up with food makes this a nice place to stop.
