Around in a Circle
During our five days of walking, we averaged ten miles a
day. Our walk traveled in a semi-circle from Burford to
Cheltenham. Most of the time, we were traveling through the
country side, but when we did encounter a city, town, or
village, we were reminded that the Cotswolds are not all that
big.
Stanway House
The fourth day of our walk, we traveled from Broadway to the
sixteenth century home of Lord Neidpath. We were welcomed into
the house for morning coffee, followed by a tour of the inside
of the house. Afterwards, Sue served us a picnic lunch in
the ancient tithe barn.
