Albert Bridge

We did this walk late on a September day. As we strolled through Battersea Park, we approached Albert Bridge. In the late evening light, the side panels in the bridge glowed a lovely welcoming pink, making the bridge appear that it was floating above the Thames.

Warning Sign

After leaving Battersea Park, you turn right and walk across Albert Bridge. As you start across the bridge, you see the warning sign above. While we don't know whether troops still march across the bridge nor whether the bridge still requires that they "break step", the sign makes an interesting start to your walk back across the Thames.
