September 30, 2001: Brittany and Alsace

We finished our time in Brittany by touring more of the region while completing more of the children's formal schooling. We then traveled across France to Strasbourg. Strasbourg is located in the wine growing region of Alsace on the border with Germany. Formal schooling has been combined with lots of touring to provide both the children and us with lots of interesting things to see and do. For the complete story, you can check out David's diary.

Itinerary

Delivery of Dragonsinger, our new Jeanneau 43DS sailboat, has been delayed by about four days. We have had to adjust our schedule slightly and the following is how things are currently looking for the rest of October. Once we reach the water our itinerary will have to be more flexible as we wait for safe weather patterns to travel along the Mediterranean Coast.

Oct. 3 - 6:	Berne, Swizterland
Oct. 7 - 15:	Commission Dragonsinger at Port St. Louis du Rhone
Oct. 15 - 30:	Shake-down cruise and modifications
Oct. 31:	Head for Spain
