Corinth to Patras, Greece

Last year, David, Karalee, Jocelyn, Kevin, and Allen passed through the Gulf of Patras and the Corinth Canal going in the opposite direction. At that time, the new bridge at Patras only had the towers completed. This year, the bridge is nearing completion, with only a small span uncompleted that Dragonsinger passed under.

We tie up in Patras, but as we back into the dock the shore line for our mooring line gets wrapped around the drive shaft. Bruce volunteers to go diving and after twenty minutes he frees the mooring line. His back is covered with bottom paint that has rubbed off from the bottom of Dragonsinger. It doesn't seem to bother Bruce and he goes for a swim around the marina.
