Skradin Waterfalls, Croatia

Skradin Waterfalls
We finally got our generator fixed and yesterday headed northwest from Split, Croatia to the long narrow Kanal Sv. Ante. The Kanal reminds us of fjords in our home cruising area around Vancouver. After spending the night at anchor we got up early this morning and moored in Skradin. The small town is home-base for those that want to explore the Krka National Park and the Skradin waterfalls.
Jocelyn After Swimming
We make a couple of trips to the falls, walking the five kilometers in the morning, but taking the tour boats that run up the river once an hour. We go swimming in the turbulent waters next to the waterfalls and ride the river current downstream. The rest of us get out and walk back upstream, but Jocelyn likes to show how strong a swimmer she is by swimming upstream against the current. Thousands of people fill the park as we all take in the spectacular falls, warm weather, and pleasant swimming.
