Back In Split, Croatia
Hooked on Split
On Monday we returned to Split, a coastal town in Croatia. We are still waiting for parts for our generator and for Jeanneau to complete some work. Fellow kid-boats Arbella and Willy Flippit are also in Split, so we have a chance to spend time together. Kevin and Allen's friend Bob from Holland is also back at the dock so there is another friend to add to the mix. The weather is nice after the storm on the weekend, and all the kids spend time swimming near the marina. Karalee and I take advantage of the big city and we do some shopping. We even manage to get new shoes for Jocelyn and me.

Willy Flippit is leaving tomorrow so the three families walk into Diocletian's Palace and follow the original palace walls until we find a large restaurant. We take over two large tables -- kids at one and adults at another. We're glad that we are tucked away at the back of the restaurant as seven kids and six adults can make a lot of noise. After dinner we head outside the town walls and walk through the Strossmayerov Park. Then it was time to walk back to the marina where we say our final good byes.
