Bridges
The start of our walk in Little Venice is near the Paddington train station. The first part of the walk follows the rail lines of the Great Western Railway that leave Paddington station. Because the canal is located in the center of one of the largest cities of the world, it is convered by numerous bridges. This is especially true during the first half of the walk.
Buildings
The first part of the walk is through mostly industrial areas. The day that we did the walk no trains were running along the Great Western line due to a train accident the day before. This made the walk much quieter than we imagine it would be on a normal day.
