Provence Day Two: Luberon Valley

Roman Fan Bridge

Our second day started with a short car and taxi ride to the start of the valley between the Grand and Petite Lubéron. The goal of the day was to climb through the Petite and Grand Lubéron to the great plain to the North, but to start we walked through relatively flat trails. Before long, we encountered a Roman bridge that has existed in the valley for thousands of years. After taking the picture above, we all traveled cross the bridge and continued on our walk.
