Malta - Part I
Malta is a small island group located in a strategic place in the Mediterranean between Sicily and North Africa. The importance of Malta throughout history has been all out of proportion to its size. There are two picture sets of our visit to Malta. The first set shows Valletta, the capital of Malta, and the nearby communities. The towns around Valletta stretch continuously, but each retains a certain flavour from its past. None of the towns shown here are more than a fifteen minute bus ride from Valletta.
