August 14, 2001: Paris and Two More Birthdays

We continue to stay in the countryside outside of Paris, exploring sites within an hours commute of where we are. We have seen lots of new things and both Kevin and David celebrated birthdays. Shopping and cooking consume a lot of time, but we have become like the French and enjoy lengthy meals made with the freshest of ingredients. Itinerary

We have been working on our travel plans from mid-August through October. Our current itinerary looks like:

Aug. 25 to Sep. 8:	Holland
Sep. 9 to Sep. 15:	Visit the Jeanneau factory and Western France
Sep. 16 to Sep. 30:	Strasburg, France
Oct. 1 - 10:	Commission Dragonsinger at Port St. Louis du Rhone
Oct. 10 - 20:	Shake-down cruise
Oct. 21 - 31:	Head for Spain
