Dragonsinger Leaves the Mediterranean
The last day in Palma was loading day for Dragonsinger. First thing in the morning, I drove Dragonsinger from Real Club Nautico to the commercial harbour where the Super Servant 3 was waiting for Dragonsinger to arrive. The Super Servant 3 is a submersible freighter, which means that I got to drive Dragonsinger onboard. After cleaning the boat and finishing packing, I flew to London. I spent a day exploring the city and shopping. My final full day in London I made a day trip to Oxford to visit with John and Janis Ridsdel. John has the sailboat Dany II which spent a winter in the marina in Monastir when Dragonsinger was there. Then it was time to take the nine hour flight back to Vancouver to join the family after almost six weeks away in the Mediterranean.
