Argostoli, Cephelonia, Greece
After spending a couple of days in Argostoli, we prepared Dragonsinger to cross the Ionian Sea. After spending an afternoon at anchor, we left at sunset for a thirty-six hour passage. The last twelve hours of the passage saw us sailing in F7-8 winds.
Fishing boats and people enjoy the quay in Argostoli
Fresh caught fish for sale
"Waves" in the sidewalk next to Dragonsinger
Tall lattes served with water and chocolate
Friendly baker with lots of treats
Leaving Argostoli at noon
A fisherman passes us while we are anchored off Cephalonia
A lunch with Greek treats in the cockpit
The sun starts to set on our anchorage
As we set out and pass the town of Lixouri
Saying goodbye to Greece
