Corsica: Splendid Views of Bonifacio
Cliffs
After the clouds on the weekend the sun came out and the skies turned blue as a new week started. We started the week with school, but by mid-afternoon we were ready to go explore more of Bonifacio. We climbed up the cliffs and admired the towering rocks that sit in front of the cliffs. We walked down to the seaside and scrambled over the rocks to get a closer look at these rock formations.
Fishing Boats
Besides being a yacht harbour, Bonifacio also is host to a number of fishing boats. There are many shore side restaurants and even more in the Citadel and the fishing fleet provides them with a fresh catch every day. When the boats are in harbour, they also provide extra character to the many tourists that visit Bonifacio.
Evening Flowers
As the evening light started to fade, Karalee and I set off from Dragonsinger for a special photo session. On top of the cliffs a field of flowers provide a beautiful landscape to take pictures with the cliffs of Bonifacio in the background. We spend an hour taking photographs before heading back to Dragonsinger and checking up on the kids. We plan to travel tomorrow and Karalee and I are ready for a break, so the two of us head off to a recommended restaurant where we have a lovely dinner on the seaside enjoying a little time together.
