Our Spa Visit
Arabella Hotel
Last Wednesday, Karalee and I celebrated our twentieth wedding anniversary. For such a special milestone, we decided to do something very special. Neither of us has ever been to a spa, so we booked a morning each in the Arabella Hotel Spa. The hotel is located just outside Palma and hosts an 18-hole golf course. Golf will be the last thing we think of today, as settle ourselves into the spa to be completely pampered.
Kevin Enjoys the Pool
As part of our celebration, we took the day off school and brought the children to the hotel. The hotel is beautiful and has three separate pools located in lush gardens. After checking in at the front desk, we settled the children next to the smaller pool near the children's playground. They were under strict orders to not bother us unless it was a total emergency and we hoped that they were far enough away from the adult pool to stay out of too much trouble.
The Spa
Karalee and I checked into the spa and for four hours forgot about any concerns about the outside world. We were whisked from room to room as our feet, hands, face, and entire bodies were pampered. We emerged glowing and collected the children who had enjoyed too much swimming and too much sun. A happy pair of parents and a grumpy set of children were led to the hotel restaurant where we enjoyed a lunch outside in the sunshine. The children had behaved well, but exhausted we led them back to Dragonsinger where we could all collapse and contemplate our day at the spa.
