Tsunami

These are pictures of an experiment done to try and simulate a Tsunami. A straight bay and a rounded bay were built out of sand on a beach in the Balearic Islands. The bays were covered with trees (sticks) and houses (shells). A pail was used to simulate the Tsunami. Multiple pails of water were thrown at each bay.

This is my dad making the tsunami while I took the picture. As you can see it is a big wave that hit the mountains, trees, and towns.

This is the end part of the straight bay after all the waves had hit.
