Allen and I were a 'king' and a 'queen' for the day! We celebrated completing Day 14, our last day, by doing errands for each other and completing it with a walk to the Post Office and having an ice-cream.
Porto Pollo, Corsica, France
May 24th. We did our school work in the morning and then rented a car to drive and see more of Corsica. Somehow we always seem to navigate towards the water - even when on land! Allen had fun playing on the rocks before we walked inland along a path.
Ajaccio, Corsica
March 26th. The evening was beautiful and the children wanted to go for a walk after doing supper dishes. It is a treat for Allen to go for a night walk.
Ciutdella, Menorca, Balearic Islands, Spain
This is our last stop in Spain before crossing the western Mediterranean. The weather is settled and Allen is enjoying the moment.
Palma, Mallora, Balearic Islands, Spain
We spent 6 weeks in Palma, about 3 more than planned but we had some warranty boat work to have done. We learn that Spanish time is not like our hectic pace of Vancouver time. The boys, Allen and Kevin, often play on their scooters or with balls in the dock area or at the local park.
Allen had fun making his bug mobile. He put a lot of effort into it and created a dragonfly, lady bug, butterfly and a bee. We didn't send the mobile but this picture instead.

Allen and I have enjoyed Grade One this year. Today is the last day of Grade One for us and Allen has completed Day 14 of Module 18. Math was completed up to Paper 9 of Grade Two. His work from Day 10 to 14th was mailed on May 31st and I trust it will reach you by June 14th.
Our materials belonging to GVDES will be returned by mail asap. A few easy reading books were left at our home in Vancouver and will be returned when we return! At the time we didn't even think we'd be gone for two years.
Allen and I have learned much about each other this year, especially how to work together and be supportive of each other. Your comments have also helped us and have kept Allen working hard. Grade One was fun. We look forward to working with you in Grade Two.
Regards,
Karalee Greer
