Our Vancouver Home
We live in a heritage style home in the West
side of
Vancouver.
The original floor plans and construction contract for our house have ended up
in the archives at the University of British Columbia.
We have viewed those files and can document that our house was originally built
by the Wilson brothers in 1927.
Views From Point Grey
Our property is part of the Point Grey district of
Vancouver. This area is located to the West of Vancouver's
downtown district. It has views to the North over English Bay.
Before 1929, Point Grey was a separate municipality of Vancouver. You
still get the feel of a separate neighborhood today, with a shopping street
only blocks away than can meet most resident's needs.
The view from our main floor is spectacular. This picture shows the
view towards the North over English Bay. In the
distance, you can make out the shore line of West Vancouver.
The next picture also looks towards the North and features the
East side of the property.
